@Laura - I was watching a Barça game and happened to look at the TV screen through my water glass at one point. That's Messi in the first glass:)...haha. @Jana & Laura - I too want to know this "defying gravity" trick!
Nice Cori! It's all about perspective. For my pic, unfortunately we only had an empty wine bottle or else I feel like I could have done more with it...but the whole "defying gravity" answer is.....are you ready.....a mirror. Simple as that. I took a bunch of pics from different angles and liked this one. There you have it! :)
I love the colors Cori! What did you use to light them from behind?
ReplyDeleteI thought it was the TV reflection from behind - there are some definite faces in the little dimples, which I think is brilliant!
ReplyDeleteLaura, your picture seems to be fighting gravity. How did you manage that?

ReplyDeletea little more on that. I laid the mirror on my dining room table and so it was really horizontal rather than vertical.
ReplyDeleteCori, just so you know, Enda had to figure out who exactly you were watching. his conclusion: L: Messi and R....Iniesta #8 is his guess. How did he do?
ReplyDeleteHaha...he's right!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd, in case anyone is wondering, the middle one is a group of them celebrating after Messi scored.
ReplyDeleteLove the second one! Four different drinks in mugs - looks like a fun afternoon :)
ReplyDeleteOooh, the second-to-last looks really good whatever it is! :)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely *brilliant* with the mirror trick, and the last photo of the glass refracting the TV images is gorgeous!
